Pin-up for Conor

A friend of mine is a massive Barcelona fan and loves Eva Mendes. So for his birthday what better present than a drawing of Eva Mendez wearing the colors of his favorite team? =P

I had to do this drawing in an hour, hence why it isn't one of my best ones, but he loved it and I'm very pleased with that.

She looks close enough to the actress and the proportions are good, although for some reason people kept asking me if it was me... I feel flattered, but she doesn't look anything like me... anyhow, this woman was tons of fun to draw even though I couldn't spend as much time as I could have liked.

American Horror Story - Young Moira O'Hara (Alexandra Breckenridge)

I've always been in love with this character, ever since I knew her whoe story, and before that I was in love with this young version of herself. Actually, the first time I saw young Moira, I couldn't help but say "She's so beautiful!!". So I've always wanted to draw her and I finally came around to do it. Although I know it doesn't look wuite as herself, she actually looks older. I think that's due to the fact that I tried a new technik, doing the shadow of her face with H2 instead of B2. I ended up doing too much shadowing making her look older, plus the eyes aren't quite right.
I hope you like it still and the effects on the hair. I loved playing with the red pencil =)

"Marilyn Monroe" for Victor

So again a birthday present for a friend. This time I took two Marilyn Monroe's pictures she had taken for "The Seven Year Itch" and combined them while putting a touch of my own. Both the faces and the upper section of the dress have been modified because I wasn't happy with the originals. Also the middle part of the dress is only "based on" the original photos, while I made the dress come a little higher than in any of the originals. Anyhow, I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed drawing this woman.

Hellboy II - Princess Nuala (Anna Walton)

I think this actress is much beautiful with this make up that in real life. Here she looks so pretty. I really love the princess as well as her brother. I actually love this movie.

Hellboy II - Prince Nuada (Luke Goss)

I absolutely love this character, and his accent, and how he moves. I was in love the whole movie. So I had to draw him

Master and Commander - Tom Pullings (James D'Arcy)

Close to the end of the movie, here is where you can best see him I think.

Star Trek: The Next Generation - Hugh (Jonathan Del Arco)

I said Seven of Nine was not my favourtie borg. That's because Hugh is the first borg that came out of the collective (besides Picard, of course). I'll post the drawing once it's finished.

Star Trek: Voyager - Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan)

I like this borg quite a lot, though she is not my favourite

Pan's Labyrinth - Pan (Doug Jones)

 I love "El laberinto del Fauno". It's one of my favourites, so I made myself a bag with the pan on it. It was my first attend on material, so you can see how I got better the more I painted. Hope you like it.

Inkheart - Dustfinger (Paul Bettany)

Here it is scanned. It looks a little bit better. I had troubles drawing the mouth, as you can see. I'll have to repeat it some day.

I should do this more often. I took pictures of the drawing as it was getting better because I like Dustfinger so much I thought it might be cool see how the pencil was creating him.

Star Trek:Voyager - Tuvok (Tim Russ)

I'm a Trekkie, and Tuvok is one of my favourite characters from "Star Trek: Voyager". I love his voice and the great chief of security that he is. I'm not too happy about the eyes, they are too big.

The Pillars of the Earth

I didn't like "The pillars of the earth" that much, but I love this scene. It's awful sad, and that's why I like it: all you get from here is sadness. I like when an image is capable of that.

Willow - Madmartigan (Val Kilmer)

I love the character of Madmartigan, and he so handsome. I know the hair look weird, but if you watch the movie you'll see it kind of look like that (kind of). The mouth could look better, I think

Avatar - Jake Sully (Sam Worthington)

I loved the movie. Jake Sully fascinated me so much I did this the day after I watched it. A shame I didn't calculate good and cut part of the head.
